STEM Educator Adds New Record To His Collection

A man in Idaho has broken a unique Guinness World Record by throwing 19 chopsticks in the bullseye of a target in one minute.

David Rush has broken over 150 Guinness Records in the name of promoting STEM education. Rush initially thought the challenge would be easier than he expected, because the record called for a 31.5-inch archery target. He soon found the attempt to be a bit more difficult than previously thought after the fine print of the rules required the chopsticks to hit and stay inside the 12.6-inch diameter of the inner circle.

Rush was able to beat the previous record of 14 chopsticks. He nearly reached 20, but one chopstick fell out just before the time expired.
